Integrated approach to food quality

QualiSud is a joint research unit created in 2007, and supervised by five research and education bodies. Its aim is to develop an integrated approach for production and preservation of products and food with optimum organoleptic, health and nutritional optimal qualities.

QualiSud brings together people from 6 separate institutions (researchers, lecturers-researchers, engineers, technicians and secretaries):

  • Cirad, Persyst Department (Performance of Tropical Production and Processing Systems)
  • Montpellier SupAgro, IRC (Institute for Higher Education in Tropical Agri-food Industry & Rural Development)
  • University of Montpellier
  • UAPV Avignon
  • University of La Reunion
  • University of Guyana
